I'MIN is a campaign that is dedicated towards immigrant students living in South Africa.
An identified challenge pertains to the obstacles encountered by immigrant students during the student visa application process, primarily stemming from delays that contribute to heightened anxiety when reapplying. To address this issue, a comprehensive campaign has been devised, integrating various platforms such as websites, applications, and social media pages to effectively assist students navigating the complexities of visa applications. The campaign also incorporates detailed visa document checklists to provide comprehensive guidance on necessary documentation.
In terms of design, a deliberate choice was made to employ simple character designs characterised by a limited colour palette. This design approach not only enhances uniqueness but also facilitates easier recall. Notably, the characters featured in the campaign represent the diversity of all races, recognising the varied backgrounds of immigrants.
